Job Summary

MUNICODE ​is growing! The Supplement Department is hiring for the position of Legal Editor.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Editing legal documents for accuracy and style consistency.
  • Interpretation of appropriate subject matter.
  • Presentation of legal information in an organized outline format.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of two years of college with an additional two years' work experience.
  • Proficient keyboarding and communication skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • ​A strong attention to detail and the ability to:
    • Work successfully in a team atmosphere.
    • Meet deadlines and work as a self-starter.
    • Learn new technical subject matter quickly.
    • Coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word is required.
  • Experience with XML, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
